We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Product Advisor to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a Product Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by determining each prospective client's vehicle needs and preferences.
- Sales and Prospecting: Promote new business and contribute to the company's customer base by seeking new customers through prospecting and referral networks.
- Vehicle Sales and Demonstrations: Sell new and pre-owned vehicles, and demonstrate vehicles to customers, including test drives.
- Product Knowledge: Understand the terminology of the automobile business and stay up-to-date on technological changes in all products and inventory.
- Training and Development: Participate in product training and stay familiar with all products, including features, specifications, prices, colors, options, and standard equipment.
- Closing Techniques: Use effective closing techniques to sell vehicles and meet sales targets.
- Customer Delivery and Follow-up: Deliver new and pre-owned vehicles to customers and ensure they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Service Department Introduction: Introduce customers to Service Department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.
- Goal Setting and Planning: Set goals for each month's productivity and plan and organize how to reach those objectives.
- Dealership Processes and Procedures: Follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index rating on sales, delivery, and follow-up.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with all levels of the organization and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including internet and MS Office, with the ability to maintain records using a computerized system.
- Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- License and Certification: Current VSA MDC License and valid British Columbia Driver's License with a good driving record.
