About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer II to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to the creation of innovative software products and supporting systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain software modules and sub-systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop solutions
  • Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products
  • Stay up-to-date with marketing requirements and competitive issues
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2 years' experience or MS
  • Working experience with unstructured mesh generation algorithms and CAD systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of C++, object-oriented design concepts, and GUI toolkits
  • Experience in a large-scale commercial software development environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
