Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
    • Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
    • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management as needed.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Cover an assigned area on the sales floor.
    • Zones assigned area to ensure a clean and organized environment.
    • Moves feature merchandise to its modular home.
    • Works recovery merchandise from the customer service desk and other areas of the store.
  • Front End Coverage
    • Assist with front end coverage as needed.
    • Communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
  • Teamwork and Safety
    • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures.
    • Ensure displays and fixtures are secure.
