Self Checkout Attendant

As a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with transactions through our self-service area(s), providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:- Keep the self-service area(s) clean and free of debris, fixtures, and foreign objects.
- Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options.
- Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives.
- Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
- Explain the reasons for self-service interventions and quality checks in a polite and reassuring manner.
- Respond to EAS alarms and complete the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
- Notify the Customer Service Manager of low cash or technical issues in the self-service area(s).
- Return Scan & Go scanners to their home after use.
