Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As an RPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in senior living homes in Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans.
- Ensure timely and accessible admission for residents.
- Ensure the supply, control, and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, and ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts.
- Provide nursing care in accordance with the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.
Requirements
- RPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration.
- Knowledge of the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.
