Description

Relevant du directeur du groupe de Conception RF et de Validation de Composantes, vous serez un acteur clé de l'équipe de composants photoniques à haute vitesse (HSPC). Travaillant sur des produits complexes, vous serez amené à converger sur des solutions prenant en compte les limitations de fabrication, les propriétés des matériaux ainsi que les principaux critères de performance.

Dans ce rôle, vous devrez interagir étroitement avec les autres membres du groupe HSPC et d'autres groupes R&D internes. Cet environnement à la fine pointe de la technologie et œuvrant à concevoir les produits optiques les plus performants au monde saura vous motiver et vous garder à l'avant plan.

En tant que concepteur, vous serez impliqué dans la réalisation de PCB, substrat et autres solutions d'encapsulation pour composantes optoélectroniques à large bande. Ces solutions seront déployées pour le test et la mise en production de récepteur et transmetteur opto-électronique destinée à nos modems. Vous concevrez des solutions pour diverses plates-formes photoniques telles que silicium, phosphure d'indium et autres technologies prometteuses.


Rôles et Responsabilités:

Concevoir et analyser en RF/micro-onde de structures passives sur diverses plateformes telle que PCB, hybride et circuit intégré. Assurer la qualité des mesures hautes-fréquences sous-pointes et connectorisées. Vous appliquerez vos connaissances RF à la conception de composantes opto-électroniques haute-vitesse Concevoir en utilisant des logiciels de simulation de circuits et de simulation électromagnétique par éléments finis Participer et organiser les revues de conception, assurer la documentation et le suivi de projet. Faire la caractérisation RF de composants photoniques novateurs ainsi que développer de nouvelles méthodes de caractérisation Vous serez un participant actif des opérations en laboratoire


Profil et Qualifications Requises :

Essentiel :

  • Baccalauréat ou Maîtrise ou Doctorat en génie électrique avec un minimum de 2 années d'expérience dans un environnement technologique et de développement de produits
  • Expérience spécifique en conception de circuit RF ou des études dans le domaine du RF
  • Connaissance de base des matériaux utilisés dans l'industrie de l'électronique (diélectrique, conducteur, semiconducteur, céramique, ...)
  • Maitriser la théorie des lignes de transmission, les techniques de mesures et de calibration

Atouts:

De l'expérience et/ou des connaissances dans les domaines suivants sont des atouts :

  • Conception à l'aide de Ansys HFSS, Keysigth ADS ou équivalent
  • Caractérisation et opération de circuit électrique tel que : amplificateur haute-vitesse et amplificateur trans-impédance
  • Connaissance d'instrument de laboratoire tel que l'analyseur de réseau un atout.
  • Connaissance des principes de modulation numérique et techniques de communication

How You Will Contribute:


Reporting to Director, Optical Engineering, as an RF Designer, you will be involved in the design of broadband electro-optic components using technology platforms such as silicon, indium-phosphide, and other promising platforms. You will also be involved in the design of packaging solutions, test circuits and systems, collaborating with scientists and other disciplines of engineering on a regular basis.

  • You will be responsible for the design and simulation of passive RF/microwave structures (transmission lines, interconnects, etc.) using various technology platforms (PCB, hybrid, integrated circuits).
  • You will apply RF design techniques to high-speed opto-electronic components including travelling-wave electrodes.
  • You will design bias circuits for active devices such as high-speed photodiodes and amplifiers.
  • You will characterize the RF performance of novel photonic and passive devices up to millimeter-wave frequencies and elaborate high frequency test methods and use of innovation for production level testing.
  • You will be an active participant in the operations of the RF lab.

The Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's / Master's / PHD. degree in Electrical engineering studies with specific training in RF design.
  • 2yrs relevant work experience in a high technology environment
  • Basic understanding of material used in the electronic industry (dielectrics, conductors, semiconductors, ceramics,...)
  • Understanding of transmission line theory

Assets:

  • Knowledge of simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS or other RF simulation tools, Matlab, and Python.
  • Basic understanding of high frequency amplifiers and trans-impedance amplifiers
  • Knowledge of Vector Network Analyzer
  • Knowledge of high speed opto-electronic devices such as modulators and photodetectors.
