Job Title: Full-Stack Engineering Associate Director (Ratings GenAI Team)

The Data Science COE at S&P Global is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Engineering leader to spearhead the design and development efforts for ML applications. This pivotal role involves defining the full-stack platform strategy, crafting front-end and application layer solutions for ML services, and collaborating with partners across data, technology, and business units.

As a key player, you will drive the design, testing, and implementation of various software applications for Machine Learning solutions, creating scalable web services and software while providing leadership for engineering teams.

You will be essential in developing full-stack solutions for ML products in a top-notch AI ML team, collaborating with renowned experts in AI ML modeling, data science, and engineering to lead S&P's AI-enabled transformation.

S&P is a front-runner in risk management solutions harnessing automation and AI/ML. This role offers a unique opportunity for an adept full-stack engineer to advance in their career and leverage their expertise in integrating front-end applications and APIs to drive business value.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (Only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global offers a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $225,000 for this role, determined by geographic location, experience, skills, and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and other benefits provided by S&P Global.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full-Stack System Architecture Design: Develop scalable systems and front-end applications for ML back-end
  • UI and System Development for AI products: Create custom architectures for AI ML pipelines, ensuring SLA requirements are met
  • System Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage scalable system and application infrastructure for AI, ML, GenAI, LLM products
  • API development, integration, and Testing: Lead the development and integration of scalable APIs
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Establish monitoring systems to track model performance and implement optimizations for system efficiency
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Ensure technical milestones align with business requirements
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and compliance standards for full-stack systems and APIs
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and applications
  • Standards and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to governance and best practices in ML pipeline monitoring
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues related to system deployments

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Hands-on experience in developing full-stack and web-application solutions and APIs
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, server-side programming languages, databases, cache mechanisms, UI/UX design, servers, and communication skills
