**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson to join our team as a Mechanical Project Foreperson, responsible for leading projects and ensuring the safety and quality of our work.

As a Mechanical Project Foreperson, you will work alongside values-driven, safety-conscious, and high-impact teams in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for leading projects, reading and interpreting blueprint drawings, and adhering to safety protocols.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead projects and ensure the safety and quality of our work
  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings for assigned projects
  • Adhere to safety protocols and measures put in place by Modern Niagara
  • Perform additional related duties as required
  • Continue to grow, develop, and learn new skills

**Qualifications and Experience:**

  • Previous experience in the installation of plumbing and piping systems
  • Journeypersons: Red Seal trade qualification
  • Apprentices: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • UA union membership required upon hiring
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to work at heights with all necessary safety training completed
  • Safety conscience individual who respects and adheres to all safety measures
  • Strong work ethic with impressive mechanical problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Hardworking individual with a powerful desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also within a team

**What We Offer:**

  • Base wage $41.55 for Journeyperson
