Key Responsibilities- Zoning and organizing the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high-quality product offering.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced, adhering to company standards and policies.
- Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
- Following Health and Safety guidelines and applying product protection when required.
- Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service and retail experience.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a produce or grocery environment, with knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
