Sublatus Environmental specializes in demolition, remediation, and reclamation services. We are committed to innovation, safety, and environmental stewardship. We seek a dedicated Project Coordinator to support our remediation and reclamation projects in central Alberta.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for assigned projects. This role involves coordinating schedules and risk management, maintaining project documentation, and handling financial queries to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Coordinate crew and equipment dispatching to ensure timely project execution.

Financial and Documentation Management:

  • Track project costs using Maestro and Excel, assisting with budget forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Handle financial queries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, waste manifests, and HSE documentation.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reports.
  • Address client inquiries promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings to gather feedback and align project plans with community expectations.

Health and Safety:

  • Develop Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) for project sites.
  • Track and report HSE statistics and perform HSE audits.
  • Ensure adherence to Work Safe Practices during site visits.

Field Support:

  • Provide onsite administrative support, including waste manifesting and KPI tracking.
  • Assist with setup of site infrastructure and delivery of materials.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Completion of post-secondary education; engineering or environmental science preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Training in accounting, project management, or administration is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational, time management, technical writing, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to represent Sublatus appropriately.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to job site locations as required.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license; driver's abstract will be required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This is a full-time, salary role with defined minimum work hours. Overtime may be required from time to time
  • Ideally, this position will be 50% office and 50% field. Travel may be required from time to time
  • Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, fitness for duty and alcohol and drug testing is required.
