About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Material Analyst to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a Material Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies to support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and optimize stockroom operations to meet just-in-time (JIT) requirements.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance, including delivery times and quality control.
  • Coordinate freight and logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Review and audit supplier releases to ensure compliance with production requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and improve delivery performance.
  • Support the development of supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to meet business objectives.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, purchasing software, and cycle-count systems.
  • Knowledge of supplier qualification standards (TS-16949, QS-9000, ISO-14001).
  • Experience with CMI/TRANS4M software and automotive manufacturing processes.
