SCIEX, a Danaher company, is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join our outstanding R&D team. As a Software Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving software product development efforts spanning SCIEX's software platform, vertical applications, and cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage software projects to develop Windows-based applications using C# and.Net for our mass spectrometer products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of 4-8 people, including software developers, software testers, technical writers, domain experts, etc.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Communicate project status to senior management and other stakeholders via presentations, reports, and project tracking tools.
  • Facilitate the resolution of project issues and remove obstacles that impede team progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of agile software development processes (e.g., SCRUM, eXtreme Programming, etc.).
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to influence and effectively negotiate with resource managers and stakeholders.
  • Good team building skills and ability to create a sense of team driven by common goals.
  • Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint, MS Project, or other resource management and tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP and/or ACP certification.
  • Software development background.
  • Bio/Life Sciences background.
