About the role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will:

Lead the end to end development and execution of new strategic branded innovation projects for Arla Foods Canada utilizing Arla's Stage Model and Project Planner Building multidisciplinary project schedules, work flows, leading team resources from across the organization to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time and on-budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters; leading multiple strategic branded New Product Development (NPD) projects simultaneously Proactively anticipates project obstacles / constraints / resource requirements and elevates with solutions to team as required Conducts post launch evaluations of NPD success in partnership with the commercial team Identifies and solves commercial challenges and creates new opportunities by turning concepts based on local consumer and shopper insights into innovative new products Contributes to the development of local strategic innovation plans focused on delivery of transformational innovation with potentially significant impact on organic growth Network across the FMCG industry to understand the development of new strategically branded products and innovation processes in specified areas of expertise and ensure findings are brought to the attention of relevant stakeholders Build close relationships with the Arla Global innovation center, Dairies, and Project Management teams and gain a strong knowledge of the innovation pipeline globally within Arla to share with local Brand Marketing Actively explores opportunities with the marketing team and in the Arla product portfolio for potential relevance to Canada Coordinate commercial growth plans and CAPEX requirements from a branded NPD standpoint with Supply Chain management Ensure integrity in the New Product forecast process by identifying variations from budget or estimates and ensure the development and implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions

Who are you?

You will have a at least five years of experience in Project Management within an FMCG environment. Your experience will include brand development, product management, and marketing activation. With at least three years of experience in new product development management, you will have experience with the Stage Gate process and project planning software. Your skillset will include strong interpersonal with a bias for collaboration, and the ability to influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams.

Your education will include a university degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent, and you will hold a relevant professional designation (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent). Your skillset will also include working knowledge of the Nielsen tool or other market analytic tools.
