My family is looking for a part-time, live-out nanny to provide care for our three wonderful children ages 8, 10, and 12 for 3 days a week for approximately 5-6 hours a day. We are looking for a person for this position July-August. The tentative dates that we are looking for childcare on are as follows:

July: fourth, fifth, ninth, eleventh, fifteen, sixteenth, eighteenth, twenty-second, twenty-third, thwenty-fifth, twenty-ninth, thirtieth

August: first, fifth, sixth, eighth, twlevefth, thirteenth, fifteenth, nineteenth, twentieth, twenty-second

Our eldest daughter is 12 and enjoys reading, art, horses, sleeping in (she is in a growth spurt) and spending time with friends. Our middle daughter is 10. She enjoys caring for her hamster, Squirt, who is her pride and joy. She also enjoys reading, art, playing outside, and playing with her friends. Our youngest son has just turned 8. He is a happy-go-luck fellow and loves playing with Lego, learning about dinosaurs and playing MarioKart. We have a very friendly pug and an indoor cat, both of whom are very friendly and low maintenance. Our children are generally happy, healthy and do not have specialized dietary or health accommodations. I am a marriage and family counsellor while my husband, Chris, is an electrician.

For this position, we are looking for someone to who is able to assist with the following:

-Healthy meal preparations (during day and dinner prep)
-Light, basic housework & tidying
-Engaging, interactive support with children
-Driving the kids to/from scheduled events, lessons and outings
-Willingness to take the kids to participate in local events/outings (occasional)
-Simple local errands & grocery shopping (occasional)
-Facilitating the kids day-to-day chores, including simple pet care

The successful candidate will:

-Keep a travel log to track any mileage that is accrued during the workday so they can be compensated for workday travel at a rate of .70/km. Please note compensation does not include the commute to/from work
-Work as a subcontractor
