About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Track Supervisor to join our team at CN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our test vehicles across our North American rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily test vehicle operations to meet frequency objectives
  • Coordinate test schedules with Geometry Supervisors operating hi-rail equipment
  • Optimize system performance to generate accurate information
  • Assist with scheduling Test Car to cover the Company's network
  • Report findings to field personnel on exceptions found during testing
  • Submit reports and test data daily to internal stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in track maintenance, including knowledge of track components
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supervision and management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working for Class One railroad in Engineering or track capacity
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid passport
  • Ability to pass all pertinent rules training, including Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR), United States Operating Rules (USOR), Qualification Standards for Operating Crews (QSOC), On Track Safety (OTS), dangerous goods, Test Car operations such as Image Map and Ensco systems
  • Track Inspection Guidelines (TIG) or comparable
