About the Role

Brock Canada Industrial Ltd is seeking a highly skilled General Foreman Insulators to join their team at Kitimat, B.C. Canada. As a key member of the insulation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, fitting, fabrication, and attachment of insulation, finishing, and weatherproofing materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of insulation technicians to ensure high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering materials as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in insulation work, with a strong background in supervisory roles.
  • Valid certification from an accredited apprenticeship board.
  • CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) certification, with other safety tickets as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, with a strong sense of safety awareness.
