Join our team at The Home Depot as an Appliance Specialist, providing exceptional customer service and driving profitable sales in our Appliances department.
Position Purpose:As an Appliance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, assessing customer needs, and guiding customer decisions to build strong relationships and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Seek out customers in the Appliance and Custom Kitchen Show Rooms to provide personalized support and guidance.
- Ask open-ended questions to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Determine customer expertise and needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Escort customers to relevant merchandise and assist with special orders and install sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in-store.
- Communicate with Inventory Associates and Freight/Fulfillment Team to ensure seamless ordering and fulfillment processes.
- Attend product knowledge and training seminars to stay up-to-date on the latest products and services.
- Minimum time in position and performance management code requirements of V2 (or P3 in previous system).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of and adherence to Home Depot policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to close sales and provide exceptional customer service.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Successful completion of the validated Sales Associate Test.
