The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices, as well as operational support to achieve required availability and reliability.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools and collaborate with experts from various sectors. You will be responsible for:

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices, as detailed in quality and maintenance documents
  • Carrying out Elementary, Servicing and Maintenance duties in support of the C130J Maintenance Training Center
  • Performing maintenance on aircraft avionic systems, mechanical, structural and electrical systems
  • Monitoring all training devices and ensuring the resolution of system actual and potential problems
  • Conferencing with technical experts and colleagues to formulate solutions
  • Debugging and troubleshooting problems spanning a wide range of technologies
  • Working shifts and/or overtime as required

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent Avionics /Aviation related training
  • Aircraft experience with relative simulator experience or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of MS-Office tools and suite
  • Some knowledge with various types of test equipment
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to handle situations with tact and be a dynamic team player
  • Ability to interpret schematics and other technical documents pertaining to aircraft
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft systems
  • Physical ability to perform manual labour tasks and/or work in confined spaces
  • Canadian Security Clearance & Controlled Good Clearance
  • Eligibility to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
