Position Details:
--Part-time and live-out
--Driving and/or car is nice but not mandatory
--Hours would be approximately 11-5pm and 3-5 days per week (but we are very flexible)

About Us:
Starting in September, our 7-year-old will be staying home and not attending traditional school. He's autistic with ADHD, very intelligent, and inquisitive but experiences too much anxiety in a classroom setting. We aren't looking for anyone to "formally teach" a specific curriculum, as he needs to learn through play, self-direction, and special interests.

Role Description:
--Engage in creative, unstructured, child-led learning activities
--Seize opportunities for moments of structured learning
--Understand the importance of downtime and the role of screen time in regulation (bonus if you have knowledge of Minecraft/Roblox)
--Assist with light housekeeping, sorting toys, meal prep, laundry, or minor errands when needed
--Recognize early signs of dysregulation and be able to switch gears effectively

Qualifications:
--Previous experience as a nanny, with a strong preference for qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field
--Experience working with children who have educational and behavioral challenges
--A proactive, nurturing approach to child care, development, and neurodiversity
--Ability to perform household tasks efficiently
--Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor
--Ability to provide a nurturing and educational environment for our children
