Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Stockroom Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our stores are fully stocked with merchandise and are ready for business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and inventory management.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet sales floor standards.
  • Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
