Job Overview

These are full-time and part-time seasonal opportunities from June 17, 2024, to August 30, 2024.

Reporting to the Camp Director, the Summer Camp Counsellors will be responsible for the day to day camp operations. This includes program planning, preparing for the activities, running the activities and interacting with the children who attend the day camps. They will ensure that the activities and environment continue to be a safe environment for all participants.

The Summer Camp Counsellors will work in the following camps:

  • Multi Sports
  • Swimming
  • Culinary
  • Creative Arts
  • Creative Dance
  • Performing Arts/Drama
  • Digital Photography
  • Science
  • Basketball
  • Coding/Robotics
  • Gymnastics
  • Tennis
  • Badminton

Job Qualifications

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and creative individual with minimum of 1 year experience working with children in a camp setting
  • First Aid/CPR certification is required
  • Knowledge of sports such as soccer, basketball, hockey, tennis is an asset
  • Ability to communicate and work with a variety of age and skill levels
  • Demonstrates desire and ability to work in a cooperative and team-oriented environment
  • Vulnerable Sector Screening required
