Job Title: Registered Nurse (Oncology/Hematology/BMT) Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the General Medical Nursing Unit Oncology/Hematology at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. This is a full-time regular position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on Medicine 6100 (Oncology/Hematology/BMT). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and hematology, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on Medicine 6100 (Oncology/Hematology/BMT)
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Nursing diploma
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Previous Oncology/Hematology/BMT clinical experience is an asset
• Ongoing willingness to pursue development pertinent to the clinical area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Canadian Oncology Nursing certification
• SHR Certification in Chemo & caring for BMT patients
