The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Guelph invites outstanding candidates to join its tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Immunology. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in immunological approaches such as immune cell signalling, immune cell interactions, immune response regulation, or other relevant methods in immunology.

We seek candidates who have a proven record of research excellence, evident in high-quality publications, and demonstrated potential to establish a competitive independent research program and secure external research funding. The candidate will join a dynamic multidisciplinary research-intensive department with 40 faculty members who study diverse biological systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Establish an innovative and sustainable research program that integrates with and expands the department's research strengths
* Develop a competitive independent research program and secure external research funding
* Provide effective and innovative teaching in the discipline of immunology to a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students
* Demonstrate commitment to employing scholarly approaches and innovative methodologies in areas relevant to MCB

**Qualifications:**

* Ph.D. in Immunology or a related field
* Minimum of three years of relevant postdoctoral experience
* Proven record of research excellence, evident in high-quality publications
* Potential to establish a competitive independent research program and secure external research funding
