Grande Prairie, Canada Home Depot Full time

Merchandising Execution Associate role at The Home Depot involves enhancing customer experience through in-store merchandising services, executing merchandising strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with store associates.

As a Merchandising Execution Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing merchandising projects, planogram maintenance, and display/signage maintenance to drive sales and maximize inventory turns.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with store associates and providing superior customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Reading and interpreting directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions, and general service guidelines.
  • Straightening, cleaning, and merchandising product to ensure a visually appealing presentation.
  • Maintaining aisle cleanliness and utilizing store systems to access key merchandising reports.
  • Executing one-off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership.

Key responsibilities also include:

  • Partnering with store leadership to markdown damaged or un-sellable merchandise.
  • Answering customer questions regarding the store and products.
  • Partnering with store associates to find necessary products to fit customer needs.
  • Conducting inspections of returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Reports to Merchandising Execution Supervisor (MEAS)

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.

Working Conditions:

  • Working within a flexible schedule that typically starts early in the morning.
  • Warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy.
  • Doors are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes.

  • GED
  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
