Manufacturing Equipment Operator

Bromer Inc. is a world leader in the manufacture of equipment for the flat glass and fenestration industries, with over 40 years of experience and 23 patents.

We are seeking an experienced worker who can read a gallon measure, cut metal or wood, and make simple mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new things and work in a pleasant atmosphere with opportunities for advancement and further training.

Duties and Functions:

• Read a gallon measure with accuracy
• Cut metal with a band saw and wood with a miter saw
• Make custom wooden crates for finished products
• Perform other simple related tasks as needed

Skills:

• Attention to detail and meticulousness to operate accurately and spot anomalies quickly
• Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with workers, technicians, and engineers

Compensation:

$25.00/hour with a $500 bonus after 3 months of meeting certain conditions

Conditions for Bonus:

• Be on the job site and work normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every working day
• Be available to perform other tasks as needed
• Be self-motivated and able to complete tasks within a reasonable time

Requirements:

• Be in good health, with physical strength to work standing up, and resistance to noise, heat, and dust
• Have an interest in mechanics and the industrial environment
• Have good manual skills and dexterity to operate machine controls
• Attention to detail and meticulousness to operate with precision and spot anomalies quickly
• Have good analytical skills to solve machine-related problems
• Have a strong sense of responsibility to manage performance and ensure smooth machine operation
• Be able to work as part of a team to collaborate with workers, technicians, and engineers
• Be bilingual to understand technical documentation in English
• Be able to work under pressure, with caution and vigilance
