Our client, a large Oil and Gas company, is hiring a Drilling Wellsite Supervisor. We are looking for an individual who matches the description and qualifications below.

Job Title: Drilling Wellsite Supervisor

Start Date: June 2024

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Wellsite Supervisor. This role, you will be responsible for overseeing drilling operations at wellsites, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling programs.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Drilling Wellsite Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.
  • Good background with Heavy Oil & Horizontal experience
  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, equipment, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in remote and challenging environments, often on a rotational basis.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drilling Operations Management: Supervise all aspects of drilling operations, including rig mobilization, wellbore drilling, casing installation, and well completion activities.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • WellView Management: Utilize advanced knowledge of WellView software to accurately capture and record real-time drilling data, monitor drilling parameters, track equipment usage, and generate detailed drilling reports.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to drilling crews, troubleshoot operational issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize drilling performance.
  • Personnel and Contractor Management: Coordinate the activities of drilling personnel, contractors, and service providers to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits of drilling operations to verify compliance with quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
