**Job Description**
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Ship Maintenance Leads and the broader Service Delivery team. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating technical support networks and ensuring they complete maintenance activities to required quality standards
* Managing special tools and test equipment loaned to technical support networks
* Overseeing the delivery of objective quality evidence for completed tasks
* Assisting in the generation and management of reports and documentation
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
* Managing material expended or returned by technical support networks
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
* Providing general project support and administration activities to the Waterfront Service Delivery Team
* Reviewing and ensuring maintenance instructions are complete and sufficient for service providers
* Compiling work item closure reports and entering them into the designated project tool
* Generating and managing documentation and reports in various formats
* Ensuring subcontracted service providers have necessary paperwork and materials
* Generating purchase requisitions for suppliers and subcontracted services
**Minimum Qualifications**
* Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft products
* Experience in procurement, project management, or warehouse environments
* Minimum of two years previous experience working in the military or a defence contract or project
* Experience with document management systems and enterprise resource planning software
**Physical Demands**
* Will be required to undertake inspections, including confined space entry, on naval ships involving bending and twisting
