Gradall Operator

Fowler is seeking an experienced Gradall Operator to operate a gradall for our Highway Maintenance and Construction divisions with the utmost regard for safety.

Key Duties:

Discuss plan for the day's work with Manager or Supervisor, review plans if necessary, and determine the most efficient way to perform the required work safely, accurately, and on time.

Safely operate a gradall to complete work/tasks as directed.

Travel to various sites within our three CDMC contract areas (North Bay, Simcoe, and Huntsville) to complete work as required.

Maintain safe equipment operation and be responsible for notifying mechanics of any equipment issues.
Responsible for maintaining equipment cleanliness.
Respond to emergencies when necessary.
Conduct yourself in a professional/mature manner.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience operating a gradall.
Ability to complete basic paperwork, i.e. time entry, sitedocs, daily work records, etc.
Ability to read and understand grade stakes, machine control displays etc.
Ability to work and follow directions in challenging work environments.
Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively with a team.
Willingness to perform physical labour at times.
Must be able to stand, lift 50 lbs, carry, bend, reach etc
Punctual and available to work.

Available for emergency work including the willingness to travel to other locations (accommodations and travel expenses will be covered on a per-job basis).

Must possess a valid DZ or equivalent driver's license.

Work Conditions:
Travel to various locations will be required (travel expenses will be covered).
Outdoor environment in various weather conditions.
Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required to meet the demands of the position.
Full-time, year-round work (winter work will be available with our CDMC Highway Maintenance division).
