Project Controls Coordinator

As a Project Controls Coordinator, you will be part of a team that leads the infrastructure industry with purpose, and our people are at the heart of everything we do. We invest in our people, just like they invest in us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to project team for project control activities, including estimating, proposal, cost systems, change management, schedule review, project reporting, and related processes
  • Learn and operate within project specific contract conditions
  • Participate in customer and internal management project status reporting meetings
  • Aid cost control and project accounting groups
  • Develops reporting documentation for internal Joint Venture communications
  • Interfaces between the project controls team and the engineering/construction team
  • Supports summarizing project status into effective communication tools for team effectiveness
  • Coordinates and implements project communications initiatives
  • Active involvement in all engineering, procurement, quality, and construction matters for greater understanding of the project status
  • Assists with coordination of change orders and tracking

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient written communication skills
  • Knowledge of SharePoint applications an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge
  • Detail oriented & customer focus
