About the Opportunity
- Assist with month-end accruals, journal entries, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Support the invoice attest and accounts payable processes.
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Provide ad-hoc support to Finance-related projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada full-time for the duration of the work term.
- Available to begin work in January 2025.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinker and ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Excel skills an asset.
Education
- Must be enrolled in a Business Program specializing in Accounting or Finance at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Candidates currently enrolled in a Masters or Ph.D. program may also be considered.
