Produce Stocker Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our grocery department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to optimize stock placement and customer flow.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
- Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
