The Bucket Shop Inc. is a Timmins, ON based mining equipment repair and manufacturing facility with a state-of-the-art sandblast and paint shop. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter/Body Prep Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial painter in a manufacturing setting, with experience using a spray gun and a valid driver's license. The ability to work independently and effectively communicate verbally and in writing is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles/equipment or parts for paint and operate machines that spray/coat products with paint
  • Identify potential safety hazards and inspect surfaces for contamination prior to coating
  • Select or mix the appropriate paint and employ methods to reduce exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial painter in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience using a spray gun
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to distinguish colors
