Position:Full-Time Security GuardSite:Belleville General Hospital - 265 Dundas St EHours:Continental Rotation / Payrate:$18.75/hour

Schedule Example:

  • Week 1 - Days - Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat
  • Week 2 - Days - Sun, Wed-Thu
  • Week 3 - Nights - Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat
  • Week 4 - Nights - Sun, Wed-Thu
  • Please note: All applicants must be able to commit to a Continental Rotation schedule for no less than 6 months in order to qualify for this position

Working as a Security Guard in a Healthcare environment, you will be responsible for completing investigations, and incident reports. You will be expected to perform constant patrols and interact with the public to provide good customer service and keep the clients and visitors safe.

Requirements

  • Compassion, empathy, and a desire to work in a health care environment
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
  • Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccination
  • Able to provide a copy of Immunization Records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, & TB Skin Tests 1 & 2)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • 6+ months security experience required
  • Previous healthcare security experience is preferred
  • 1+ year of security experience is preferred
  • Must be able to commute to Kingston for pre-deployment training
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle in good repair
  • Must be able to site train at all 4 QHC facilities (Belleville, Trenton, Picton, and Bancroft)
  • Must be able to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
