Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Corporate Office in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies that improve customer service levels while improving working capital efficiency.
  • Process improvements.
  • Vendor performance management.
  • Lead the supply chain team, ensuring an ongoing focus on continuous improvement.
  • Establish inventory best practices that support financial and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for manufacturing facility and North American branch network.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ERP enabled processes.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, or major in related curriculum.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management with a focus on Procurement and Logistics in a manufacturing and distribution industry.
  • SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation an asset.
  • 1 to 5 years MS Great Plains, Dynamics 365 or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes.
  • Solid exposure to a continuous improvement environment.
  • Experience with multi-product buying across multiple vendors and suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
  • Professional communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or equivalent is an asset.
  • Ability to lead, train, and mentor employees on a personal level.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
