Job Title: Unreal Operator

We're seeking a highly skilled Unreal Operator to join our team at Scarab Digital. As a key member of our Virtual Production Division, you will be responsible for managing our wall, various projects, and all technical aspects of our virtual production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our Virtual Production Supervisor and Head of Virtual Production to ensure seamless technical operations during virtual production shoots.
  • Operate and manage Unreal Engine, LED panels, Tracking Systems, UE Blueprints, and Perforce.
  • Support Pre-lights, Productions, Performance Tests, Pre-vis, Tech-vis, and R&D Initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and optimize the virtual production environment for efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and a propensity to stay calm under pressure.
  • A rich understanding of Unreal Engine, LED panels, Tracking Systems, UE Blueprints, and Perforce.
  • Experience on-set, preferably with Virtual Production.
  • Detailed knowledge of Unreal Engine for ICVFX pipelines.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with Pixera and other media servers.
