Role Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Grade 4-12 Teachers (across all subjects) to be a part of our team. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in their fields, a solid grasp of the Ontario curriculum, and the ability to tailor instruction and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners. While a sports background is not mandatory, we seek individuals who are passionate about integrating sports, health, and arts into their teaching methods, inspiring students to pursue their interests in these domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and customized lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum.
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
  • Incorporate sports, health, and arts education into the curriculum to foster comprehensive student growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular ventures.
  • Offer continuous feedback and assistance to students to assist them in achieving their academic and personal objectives.
  • Maintain precise records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Follow the guidelines of Growing Success and implement suitable assessment and evaluation techniques.

Requirements:

  • Ontario College of Teachers certification (OCT) is mandatory. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Undergraduate degree in Education or a related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and experience in curriculum diversity.
  • Passion for integrating sports, health, and arts education in the classroom.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a lively team environment.
  • Dedication to cultivating an inclusive and fair learning atmosphere.
