Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to provide person-centered and recovery-oriented care.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and research.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment options.
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing. One (1) year recent related mental health experience in an acute, tertiary or community setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
