Conavi Medical's innovative Novasight Hybrid System enables simultaneous imaging of coronary arteries with both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).

If you would like to be a part of our talented team that is making a difference for patients, we are currently looking for a full-time Production Technician to assemble Conavi's medical devices according to manufacturing and quality standards.

In this position, you will:

  • Assemble and/or fabricate the medical device components in accordance with process and quality documentation
  • Perform testing and inspection of parts to be used in the assembly of devices as required
  • Complete process and quality documentation as well as verify that document revisions, logbooks, and forms are maintained with the correct revision # on the production floor
  • Conduct routine inspections and test to identify defects or non-conformance issues and report any findings
  • Report on the inventory of supplies and materials
  • Follow instructions regarding notifications of deviations and provide information during investigations with minimal supervision
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure timely completion of production targets
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of work area to create a safe space and ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP)
  • Perform calibration and preventative maintenance as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and guidelines

You possess the following qualifications:

  • Secondary school education
  • Medical device production experience operating under a Quality Management System (ISO13485) is an asset
  • A proven ability to work with micro sized parts under a microscope (up to 40x) is required depending upon the position
  • Able to work in a clean room environment as required including wearing the necessary attire, performing cleaning and disinfection activities, and understanding of material flows is an asset
  • Exhibits attention to detail in the performance of tasks
  • Prioritizes and executes assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to lift, push, pull items weighing 25 kgs. or less
  • Comfortable working with small amounts of chemicals on occasion such as solvents or epoxies
