About the Role- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional and physical support to residents, including those with dementia and other cognitive impairments
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Document resident care and progress, as well as maintain accurate records
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
- Document resident care and progress
- Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate or completed two years of accepted registered nursing education program
- One year previous experience as a Health Care Aide preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident autonomy
