Your Opportunity

Stantec is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with P.Eng certification to join our team in Waterloo, ON.

This role involves developing cost-effective geotechnical engineering designs, managing projects, and serving as a technical resource for the team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work on projects in various sectors including transportation, residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
  • Supervise field staff and testing activities.
  • Manage clients and contractors.
  • Design and assess geotechnical systems.
  • Prepare proposals, reports, and project specifications.
  • Perform general field and office duties.
QualificationsYour Capabilities and Credentials
  • Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng) designation.
  • Strong technical skills with experience in various areas.
  • Ability to work in a team and think creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Background in geotechnical consulting is a plus.
  • Good standing as a Professional Engineer.

Office work involves using computers, while field work may include exposure to various elements.
