We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our delivery team as a Furniture/Appliance Delivery Driver Helper. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities- Assist the Delivery Driver with route planning and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Inspect and load products onto delivery vehicles, ensuring they are properly secured and ready for transport.
- Physically lift and carry products into customers' homes, taking care to avoid any damage.
- Document delivery status and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Assemble products in customers' homes, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Provide in-home customer service, including handling customer settlements and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick.
