Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including deactivating merchandise as required.
  • Promote company sponsor programs and assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise.
  • Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to company policies.
  • Refer complex service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
