Job Responsibilities
  • Clean offices:
    • Dust and clean furniture, vacuum, sweep, mop, and wash walls and windows.
    • Remove garbage and recycling from centralized areas.
  • Clean washrooms and change rooms:
    • Clean washrooms and replenish supplies (soaps, paper towels, hand cream, etc.).
  • Clean warehouse:
    • Clean warehouse floors, shelves, walls, and where applicable.
  • Clean GMP areas:
    • Clean Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) areas, including washing walls, stairs, ceilings, and floors.
    • Replenish supplies.
  • Clean cafeteria:
    • Clean the cafeteria, including the food preparation area, freezers, coolers, and storage areas.
    • Remove garbage and recycling materials as needed.
    • Maintain coffee brewers as required.
  • Clean laboratory:
    • Clean the laboratory and replenish supplies as required.
  • Dispose of waste:
    • Dispose of all garbage and recycling following proper procedures.
  • Operate cleaning equipment:
    • Operate various cleaning machines, including floor polishers, vacuums, and floor scrubbing machines.
    • Operate compactors.
  • Follow safety protocols:
    • Utilize approved cleaning agents as trained.
    • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and established safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team:
    • Work in a safe manner, collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
  • Adhere to company policies:
    • Demonstrate behaviors that exhibit our organizational values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
    • Adhere to all compliance programs, including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.
  • Physical demands:
    • Responsible for attending each shift in a fit mental and physical condition.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Grade 12 education.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Required:
    • The ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Good command of the English language (ability to read, write, and understand English).
    • Good oral communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Physically fit.
    • Manges time to complete assigned tasks.
    • Basic computer skills (using emails, etc.).
    • Preferred:
    • Organizational and priority skills.
  • Experience:
    • Previous cleaning experience preferred.
