About the Opportunity

Susan Smith is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join our team in Peace River. This is a unique opportunity to work in a community that offers a high quality of life and a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a full-time community mental health practice in Peace River
  • Provide hospital call assistance as required
  • Provide psychiatric services to communities in need, either in-person or through telemedicine
  • Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities
  • Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Specialized in Psychiatry, with experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry an asset
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or FRCPC eligible) desired
  • Valid license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta
