Job Title: Grocery Associate

Join our team as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada and develop your skills in the retail industry. This role offers a great opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Zones the department to ensure a clean and organized shopping experience.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations.
  • Follows food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assists with ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and other tasks as required.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Stocks merchandise, picks, and downstocks as needed, and applies product protection when required.
