Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of area, evacuations, and emergency codes.
- Handle customer and Associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
- Monitor Front End associates, ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and providing assistance to outlying registers.
- Provide training to Associates on systems and Company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, and safety.
- Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, and assist with error corrections, providing approvals and verifying processes to meet Company guidelines.
- Ensure EAS systems are functioning to standard, including Cashiers deactivating and Greeters handling issues appropriately.
- Prepare registers for opening and closing daily, and support cashiers by providing change as needed, while maintaining front end cash levels and supporting process by completing audits on register accuracy.
- Oversee and promote all company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card service, Walmart protection plan, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail management or related field preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Previous experience in Front End operations or related field.
