Role overview: We are looking for an automation tester who considers themselves dynamic, and collaborative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the QA team, you will identify, analyze, and document problems following a clearly defined QA methodology and you will be responsible for the planning, execution and Reporting of all automation activities in your area of responsibility.

QA Automation Engineer

What you will do?

  • Design, develop, and Implement Testing Automation solutions using Core Java, Python, Selenium, Rest ASSURED, and custom frameworks.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Design and build scalable automated test frameworks.
  • Help build the knowledge base in the testing automation communities – including lessons learned, standard methodologies, tools, methods and learning events.
What you bring to the role:
  • Minimum 5+ years of testing experience with 3+ years of development and maintenance experience with multiple testing automation frameworks, tools and technologies, including some of the following: REST-Assured, Selenium, Postman, Newman, SoapUI, TestNG, Custom JAVA Solutions, JUnit, BDD and DDD approaches.
  • 3+ years of working experience on UI Automation frameworks with skills aligned to JAVA selenium & Selenium Grid.
  • 3+ years of working experience on Mobile Automation frameworks (i.e. Appium) and toolsets.
  • 3+ years of working experience on API Automation frameworks (i.e RestAssured) & scripting.
  • 2+ years of working experience with Dev-ops environment & integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure of working and delivering in an Agile In-sprint environment with focus on automation.
Good to have:
  • Previous banking experience.
  • Understanding of business banking servicing platforms.
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Azure and working with testing cloud hosted APIs & Infrastructure.
  • Ability to work in a behavior-driven development model (BDD).
