Are you a nurturing, educated and reliable nanny looking for an additional opportunity in a warm and family-oriented environment? The Hodder family in Port Elgin, Ontario is seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist with their child during afternoons/early evenings once or twice a week. This live-out, part-time position offers the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our family and could be an ideal fit for someone seeking a role that combines childcare with light housekeeping and meal preparation duties.

As our child will be starting primary school in the fall, the ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young minds and be able to engage them in age-appropriate activities. In addition to providing attentive care for our child, the role will involve light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation to support the smooth running of our household. We also have 1 dog, 1 cat and some fish, so comfort with animals would be required.

This is a temporary position to start that may become permanent if it is a good fit, with an hourly rate of $20. If you are an enthusiastic and responsible individual with a passion for childcare and have availability in afternoons/early evenings, we invite you to message us to explore this opportunity. We are flexible on the timing so that it fits into your existing schedule, but allows Mom and Dad a break =D. We look forward to welcoming a caring and dedicated babysitter into our home.
