**Job Description**

As a Relief Full-Time Registered Nurse, Surgical Services - Inpatient, you will be part of a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide person-centered care
• Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests, including ankle-brachial indexes and transcutaneous oxygen measurement
• Teach patients and families about illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes
**Qualifications**
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment and provide nursing care through appropriate technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to promote person-centered care and integrate and evaluate data from multiple sources to problem-solve effectively
