Role Overview

What you'll do

· Understanding various capital market product attributes from upstream, e.g. Fixed Income/US treasuries, Repos, etc.

· Picking up new concept and applying it quickly, e.g. Regulatory Reporting

· Performing data gap analysis, systems, processes and procedures as required for the project.

· Create reporting mapping logic or requirement document

· Communicating requirement to development and QA, performing testing, coordinating UAT testing and assisting production implementation

· Contributing to the process re-engineering and process improvement where applicable.

· Supporting user's training and documentation as needed.

· Report the BA team working status and raise concerns or issues that may hinder the project progress as planned to management and PMs

What you bring to the role

Must-have

· Experience in systems implementation, process improvements or systems re-engineering projects with a banking organization or consulting company.


• Regulatory reporting experience


• Lead BA – experience as PO or PM


• Capital Markets experience


• Background with these areas of Domain Knowledge would be great. As they will be working on Cap market - Fixed Income/US treasuries, Repos, Broadridge experience & Apex system (Repos).

· Knowledge in trade life cycle

  • Must have excellent communication skills, should be able to present to executives.
  • Must have the ability do hands on work with requirements writing, leading the team, ensure tech teams are delivering well.
  • Must have agile experience as they will be working in Jira.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
